Regional writers present a continuing series of free lectures, discussions and readings. This month's featured writers are Monica Drake and James Bernard Frost.

Monica Drake's fiction has appeared in the Beloit Fiction Review, Threepenny Review, The Insomniac Reader and others. Her debut novel, Clown Girl, is published by Hawthorne Books and is an Oregon Book Awards finalist for the Ken Kesey Award for the Novel.

James Bernard Frost received his MFA in Creative Writing from the University of San Francisco and has worked as a journalist for Wired. His first book, The Artichoke Trail, won an award for travel journalism. World Leader Pretend is his first novel.
