This schoolteacher is widely credited for inadvertently inventing a popular children's game after a rambunctious roll call one morning. She found her pond pupils needed a controlled energy release in the mornings so she'd allow one youngster to run around the group in a circle. The practice went on to become the stuff of recess legend. This is an archival print created from an original pen and ink drawing, suitable for framing.
