Stumptown Comics Fest is Now in April!

April 26, 2008: It seems like only a few months ago we were schlepping our wares to the Stumptown Comics Fest. Oh, wait! It was only a few months ago! The Fest has changed seasons to avoid conflict with other events (I believe) and will now be held in late April. Here's the scoop.

Marjane Satrapi Contest Winners!

April 01, 2008: Congratulations to Rachel G. and Ann Marie O. -- the winners of our Marjane Satrapi ticket giveaway! The correct answers were:

  1. Tehran, Iran
  2. Vienna, Austria
  3. Behave well, speak well, act well

Don't despair if you didn't win and you're on a budget! Literary Arts is opening up the cheap seats in the upper balcony for 10 bucks a pop! Plus, youth tickets are available for people of high school age and younger for $5 each.

In addition to Persepolis, Marjane Satrapi is the author of Embroideries, Chicken with Plums, and Monsters are Afraid of the Moon, all of which are currently available at Reading Frenzy!
