YA5: First Issue Release Party, April 9th

YA5, a new journal of arts writing will celebrate its inaugural issue this Saturday at Container Corps in Portland!


Edited by David Knowles (Publication Studio), Sam Korman (Car Hole Gallery), and Gary Robbins (Container Corps), YA5 serves as a non-commercial, freely distributed print venue for writing on contemporary arts. YA5 will be published 5 times a year, with each issue forming around one of five rotating themes (Art, Music, Food, Design, Film).

5th Annual NY Anarchist Book Fair, April 9th & 10th


This Saturday the annual Anarchist Book Fair will descend upon New York! With the fair comes droves of self-publishing nuts and geniuses alike, setting up and participating in workshops, a film festival, and even an arts festival at the Living Theater. Book and zine-sellers will be taking over the beautiful and expansive Judson Memorial Church. For more information and a schedule of events, check out their official website!
